Mural #1 - Mural Size: 9'x28'. Mural Depicts: Corps pulling boats upstream on the Jefferson river. Lewis wrote in his journal that the "currant more rapid & much more shallow than usual." This was the first Whitehall Lewis & Clack Bicentennial Mural painted.

Building History: This corner housed the first mercantile store in Whitehall. Later, it was the Lepp Garage, and later a hardware store. Current building was built in 1987, and houses The Corner Store.
