Liberty Place Inc., located at 1173 Highway 55, is an assisted living facility for individuals with acquired brain injuries. The Liberty Place has been open for four years now and has a total of eleven residents but can hold up to twelve residents total.Kristi Wilson, the administrator of the Liberty Place since November 2005, commutes from Belgrade and plans to eventually move to Whitehall. Sanya Ness, who is the assistant facility manager, is a Whitehall resident and has worked for Liberty Place since it opened in 2004. The residents are cared for by a total of twelve employees.

Liberty Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a farm-like setting that is true to the Montana way of life. In a walk around the Liberty Place, one would find gardens and animals that add to the farm setting of the facility. Not only do the residents do volunteer work in town such as helping at Legion Street Grille's Halloween Party and the local Food Pantry but a few residents even work for a couple businesses in town also. The residents are often taken on trips to local attractions such as the Whitehall Museum, Virginia City, and Yellowstone Park.
